I refer to WA Government major projects and I ask:
(a) Does the Government collect or maintain data on criminal convictions held by union officials or delegates operating on major projects? If not, why not;
(b) If yes to (a):
(i) How many union delegates, union officials, health and safety representatives, or right-of-entry permit holders with criminal records or previous criminal charges have been active on major projects since March 2021; and
(ii) How many union officials or delegates operating on major project sites are currently facing criminal charges before a court;
(c) Has any State agency conducted an audit of criminal convictions or pending charges involving union representatives on major projects? If so, what were the findings;
(d) Is the Government aware of any union delegates or officials with convictions for the following charges on major projects (please provide figures if so):
(i) violence;
(ii) intimidation;
(iii) extortion; and
(iv) fraud;
(e) How many incidents involving alleged intimidation, threats, harassment, unlawful entry, or workplace disruption by union representatives have been reported on major projects since 2021; and
(f) Does the Government require principal contractors on major projects to disclose whether union delegates or officials on site have criminal convictions relevant to workplace conduct, if not why not?
