I refer to Tom Burke House located at 153 Newcastle Street Perth, which is registered on the State Heritage Register, can the Minister outline:(a) the current status of this heritage-registered building, including whether any conservation works, adaptive reuse plans, redevelopment proposals or sale processes have been progressed since its closure (which community sources indicate has left it unused for years);(b) whether any conservation management plans or heritage approval processes have been received by the Government or heritage authorities in the past 12–24 months; and(c) when the Government expects the property to be returned to productive use? Answer

(a)   Tom Burke House has been identified for disposal. (b)  Yes, a Conservation Management Plan for the site was completed. A Heritage Agreement was also endorsed by the Heritage Council of Western Australia. (c)   Further announcements regarding a registration of interest process will be made in due course.
