David Pye—Medication
182. Hon Nick Goiran to
the minister representing the Minister for the
Corrective Services:
I refer to the
answer on 12 March 2026 to my question without notice 110 on 11 March
2026, wherein the house was informed that the last scheduled review of Health Services Policy, MM05: Formulary and Prescribing
Restricted Medication took place on 12 February 2025.
(1) Was it the trial of David Pye that
caused the policy to be reviewed on an ad hoc basis on 20 January 2026?
(2) Does the minister recall refusing on
10 March 2026 a request to table this document and citing in lieu thereof the
process under the Freedom of Information Act 1992 ?
(3) Does the minister recall refusing on
12 March 2026 a consequential request to comply with section 82 of the Financial Management Act 2006 ?
(4) Is the minister aware that it is open
to the house to compel the Leader of the House to provide the document via an
order to produce?
(5) Will the minister now without further
delay table a copy of this policy, and if not, why not?
