I refer to the State Budget line item Safety Camera Program (page 390) worth $62.5m, and I ask:
(a) How many additional fixed, mobile, and average-speed cameras will be deployed under this expansion;
(b) How will the locations of these safety cameras be determined;
(c) What modelling was used to determine that expanded camera enforcement will reduce serious crashes, and can that modelling be provided to Parliament;
(d) What proportion of infringements are expected to increase following deployment; and
(e) Will there be a review mechanism to ensure cameras are not disproportionately concentrated in lower-risk urban areas compared to regional highways?
