I have raised the issue of a new or at least refurbished Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at Sir Charles Gairdner (SCGH) with the Minister for Health Infrastructure and have been advised this is a matter for the Minister for Health. Can the Minister advise:
(a) Have any approaches been made to the Minister for a new or at least a refurbished Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at SCGH;
(b) If so, when and what is the Government's position on such a redevelopment given existing capacity constraints and less than optimal infection control arrangements; and
(c) What are the current arrangements for protecting patients and adolescents transferring form the Perth Children's Hospital from potentially life threatening cross infection?
