I refer to the Aboriginal Affairs Policy Unit within DPC and I ask:
(a) Given staffing in the unit has more than doubled from 53 FTEs to 110 FTEs (2025-26 Estimated Actual in the Budget), what specific new or additional policy advice requires a workforce that has grown by 107% in just two years;
(b) How has this policy unit changed in function from 2017-2026, please provide an overview of the unit's purpose, structure and policy focus areas; and
(c) Does this policy unit report to the Premier and the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs or just one of these?
