(1) Could the Minister provide a breakdown of the approximately $6.8 billion in energy transition expenditure referred to in the 2026-27 Budget, including:
(a) the name of each individual project, program or initiative that forms part of this total expenditure;
(b) the responsible agency, government trading enterprise or entity;
(c) the original approved budget;
(d) the current estimated total cost;
(e) expenditure incurred to date;
(f) the expected completion date; and
(g) the current project status?
(2) What is the total amount allocated to:
(a) generation replacement projects;
(b) battery energy storage projects;
(c) transmission network upgrades;
(d) coal-fired power station decommissioning and remediation activities;
(e) system security and firming initiatives;
(f) workforce transition and industry support programs; and
(g) any other associated energy transition costs?
(3) for each category identified in (2), a list of the projects included and the cost attributed to each project?
(4) the amount of expenditure that has been funded directly by taxpayers, compared with expenditure funded through borrowings, retained earnings or other sources?
(5) whether any projects within the $6.8 billion total have experienced cost increases since first being announced and, if so, the original and current estimated cost of each project?
(6) Of the approximately $6.8 billion, how much has already been committed or expended, and how much remains subject to future budget approval?
