I refer to schools located in the Central Wheatbelt and I ask:
(a) For each public school located within the Central Wheatbelt electorate can the Minister provide:
(i) the current student enrolment numbers;
(ii) the current number of teaching staff, expressed as full-time equivalent (FTE);
(iii) the current number of non-teaching staff, expressed as full-time equivalent (FTE); and
(iv) the percentage change in student enrolments over the past five years;
(b) For each public school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate, can the Minister advise
:
(i) how many students are enrolled as boarding students;
(ii) how many students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
(iii) how many students are receiving additional learning support funding; and
(iv) how many education assistants are employed at each school;
(c) Can the Minister provide a breakdown, by school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate of:
(i) permanent teaching staff;
(ii) fixed-term teaching staff;
(iii) relief teaching staff regularly engaged;
(iv) permanent non-teaching staff; and
(v) fixed-term non-teaching staff;
(d) For each public school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate, can the Minister advise:
(i) the current student-to-teacher ratio;
(ii) the number of vacant teaching positions;
(iii) the number of vacant non-teaching positions; and
(iv) how long each vacancy has remained unfilled
;
(e) Can the Minister provide, for each school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate:
(i) the school’s current enrolment capacity;
(ii) the current utilisation rate of the school;
(iii) whether any transportable classrooms are currently in use; and
(iv) whether any additional classrooms are planned or funded over the forward estimates;
(f) Can the Minister provide, for each public school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate, the total amount paid for water charges in each of the last five financial years;
(g) For each public school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate, can the Minister advise:
(i) the annual water consumption in kilolitres for each of the last five years;
(ii) whether the school is connected to scheme water, bore water, or both; and
(iii) whether the school has received any water efficiency upgrades or grants in the last five years;
(h) Can the Minister provide a breakdown, by school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate:
(i) water charges associated with irrigation and oval maintenance;
(ii) water charges associated with buildings and classrooms; and
(iii) any rebates, concessions, or subsidies received for water costs in the last five years;
(i) For each public school within the Central Wheatbelt electorate, can the Minister advise:
(i) whether the Department has identified any abnormal or excessive water usage in the last five years;
(ii) whether any leaks, infrastructure failures, or irrigation faults were identified; and
(iii) the cost of rectification works undertaken as a result; and
(j) Can the Minister advise:
(i) what policies or programs currently exist to assist regional public schools in reducing water costs;
(ii) how many schools within the Central Wheatbelt electorate have participated in these programs; and
(iii) what total savings have been achieved by those schools through water efficiency measures?
