357. Hon Michelle Hofmann to the minister representing
the Minister for Corrective Services:
(1) Will the minister table a copy of the
current policy governing the placement and housing of prisoners who were
recorded as male on their birth certificate at birth but identify or are
managed as female within the corrective services system?
(2) If not, why not?

(1)–(2) Placement of trans,
gender diverse or intersex prisoners includes consideration for the prisoner's safety,
dignity and welfare, as well as the safety of other prisoners and staff.
