I refer to recent actions by the State Government to remove or replace the word “women” in legislation, policy documents and official guidance, as well as to the State Government’s website description of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project, and I ask:(a) has any consideration been given by the Department of Health, the Government, or any advisory body to removing or replacing the word “Women” in the hospital’s name; and(b) if yes to (a):(i) when was this consideration first raised;(ii) by whom; and(iii) what alternative names were proposed?
