(1) Can the Minister confirm, for FY24/25 that where WA State Expenditure or capital allocated is employed for Solar Panels and/or Windfarm installations directly for Western Power or indirectly through private offtake arrangements behalf of the taxpayer, that full Modern Slavery Due Diligence is conducted in Accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018?(2) Please provide a list of instances where Modern Slavery Statements were provided by suppliers of Wind Farm and Solar Panel equipment?(3) Please provide any instances where Modern Slavery Statements were requested, and suppliers were unable or unwilling to provide an annual Modern Slavery Statement?(4) Can the Minister advise if any review risks of Modern Slavery, as a result of mandatory annual checks of suppliers, have revealed any concerns of trafficking, child labour, forces labour or slavery were reported?(5) Have all entities with your portfolio, published Modern Slavery Reports, as per the Modern Slavery Act 2018, if not, why not?(6) Is the Minister satisfied that Modern Slavery does not exist in Western Power Supply chains in Western Australia, given the mandatory requirement to provide an Annual Modern Slavery statement for suppliers with income in excess of $100m?

(1 - 3) Western Power applies a comprehensive, risk-based, modern slavery due diligence framework across all procurement and supply chain activities, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 .
All suppliers are subject to contractual requirements that suppliers meeting the reporting threshold under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 comply with their statutory reporting obligations.
(4 - 6) Western Power, Synergy and Horizon Power have complied with their obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 . Western Power has not identified any actual or suspected instances of modern slavery in its operations or supply chains.
