I refer to the answer provided in Question on Notice No.1682, and the consultation undertaken in relation to changes to the Department of Education's home education processes and practices throughout 2025, and I ask:
(a) In addition to consultation with peak bodies and education regional offices, was direct consultation undertaken with home-educating families themselves;
(b) If the answer to (a) is yes, please provide the number of home-educating families consulted, the dates of consultation and the format of consultation; and
(c) If the answer to (a) is no, please provide the reason that direct consultation with home-educating families was not undertaken?
