On page 325 of the 2026-27 Budget papers there is a note that the decrease in income from
2024-25 Actual and 2025-26 Budget is as a result of unspent funding
from a service provider. Can the Minister advise:
(a) Who was the provider;
(b) What was the provider contracted to do and for how much;
(c) What amount of funding was returned;
(d) What happened to this funding;
(e) Why were the funds unspent;
(f) Did this under spend compromise any of the intended outcomes for the program and if so, how; and
(g) Is it intended that the provider will be funded again in 2026-27 and if so, why?
