Rental tenancies
332. Hon Tim Clifford to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Commerce:
Under the current
laws and regulations, can a rental tenant cancel or delay an inspection or home
open on the basis of serious illness or compromised immunity?

I thank the member
for some notice of the question. Yes. The Residential
Tenancies Act 1987 gives landlords the right to enter a property,
however there are rules about the reasons they can enter and as to when they
can enter.
