The 2026-27 Budget Papers show $148.8m is shown for the new six story Mandurah
Hospital (which it is assumed is the same as the redevelopment of the Peel
Health Campus referred to in last’s year’s Budget Papers), and as no funding is shown beyond 2026-27 it is assumed that the hospital will be operational at
some point in 2026-27. Can the Minister advise:
(a) When did work on the hospital commence;
(b) When is it expected to be completed;
(c) When will the Hospital be fully operational;
(d) How many additional beds will this add to the public health system; and
(e) What is the reason for the hospital being shown in last year's budget as $142.9m and now it is $148.8m?
