(a)          The last tenant vacated on 6 August 2025.
(b)          Refurbishment is critical to extend the life of the state’s ageing public housing stock and ensure housing remains available to the most vulnerable members of our community.  The complex at 34 Bellevue Terrace, Fremantle was constructed in 1968 and spot purchased by the Housing Authority in 1988. To ensure the fifty-seven year old property can continue to remain in stock, the Department of Housing and Works sought to refurbish the property. The complex is anticipated to be completed this year.
(c)          Following vacation of the property, further engineering scoping works identified the requirement for significant power upgrades to the site to ensure compliance with modern standards.
(d)          Works are on track for completion this year.
(e)          Tenants will be allocated as soon as possible on completion.
(f)          All homes are returning to use as social housing.
