Portfolio: Housing and Works
Question
I refer to the Government Regional Officers' Housing (GROH) program and I ask:(a) How many GROH properties are there in Busselton and Dunsborough, City of Busselton jurisdiction;(b) How many vacant GROH properties are there in Busselton and Dunsborough; and(c) Have there been any properties added to the GROH stock in the past year and if so how many?
Answer
a) 62 GROH properties as at 28 February 2026.
b) Occupancy is not managed by the Department of Housing and Works with each agency managing the occupancy of its own dwellings. Vacancy figures are point-in-time only and do not provide a reliable current or ongoing measure.
c) 49 in the 2025 calendar year across the portfolio.
