I refer to Petroleum Exploration Licence EP498 (the EP498
Acreage), which covers prospective formations on the Three Springs to Morawa
Midwest Western Australia:
(a) is the area under Exploration Licence EP498 also an area proposed for the development of a wind farm;
(b) who is the current owner of the wind farm proposal;
(c) what is the Department doing to ensure the rights of the owner of Petroleum Exploration Licence EP498 are not impinged by the wind farm proposal;
(d) what has the Department done to ensure compatibility between the exploration licence and any other proponent of any other project; and
(e) what imposts does the Department see the proposed wind farm development would have on the development of the energy assets under Petroleum Exploration Licence EP498?
