mid-February 2026, there were 534 convictions recorded for the new retail
assaults offence.
(1) What is the updated number of
convictions from July 2024 until the most recent number available?
(2) How many people were charged in the
same period as opposed to convicted?
(3) Of the number charged, how many were
under the age of 18?
(4) Of the number convicted, how many
were under the age of 18?
