I refer to the percentage of the Western Australian Museum's collection documented and digitised (as outlined in the 2026–27 Budget) and ask:
(a) How are "documented" and "digitised" defined for the purposes of this Key Effectiveness Indicator;
(b) What standards, guidelines or benchmarks are used to determine whether a collection item has been documented and digitised, including:
(i) When were those standards, guidelines, benchmarks or assessment methodologies last amended; and
(ii) What changes, if any, were made as part of the most recent amendment;
(c) How many collection items were documented and digitised in:
(i) 2024–25;
(ii) 2025–26; and
(iii) are expected to be documented and digitised in 2026–27;
(d) What was the total number of collection items used to calculate this Key Effectiveness Indicator in:
(i) 2024-25; and
(ii) 2025–26;
(e) How many collection items remain undocumented or undigitised as at the most recent stocktake, and what was the date of that stocktake;
(f) How many collection items are documented and digitised but are not publicly accessible online;
(g) What factors prevent collection items from being documented or digitised, including any legal, cultural, technical, resourcing or policy constraints;
(h) What actions, initiatives, policy changes, capital works or resourcing changes are expected to increase the percentage of the Western Australian Museum's collection documented and digitised;
(i) What funding is allocated in 2026–27 to support collection documentation and digitisation;
(j) Does the Western Australian Museum calculate an average cost per object for documenting and digitising the State collection and, if so, what is that cost; and
(k) What is the estimated timeframe for completion of documentation and digitisation of the Western Australian Museum's collection?
