I refer to Budget Paper 2 Volume 1 page 233, WA Agricultural Research Collaboration and I ask:
(a) of the $5.9 million allocated to the 2026-27 budget:
(i) how much is an allocation of "new" funding; and
(ii) how much is existing funding from previous years being rolled into the 2026-27 year;
(b) Can the Minister provide a breakdown of how the $5.9 million allocation will be spent including:
(i) administration and operational costs;
(ii) research projects;
(iii) staffing and personnel costs; and
(iv) any grants or payments to external organisation;
(c) what specific projects, programs or research initiatives will be funded through the $5.9 million allocation; and
(d) what is the Government's long term vision for the WA Agricultural Research Collaboration beyond the budget allocation of $1.96 million in 2028-29?
