Hon Nick Goiran inquired about the implementation of defamation law reform recommendations in Western Australia, following the Attorney General's previous statement that the Standing Council of Attorneys-General (SCAG) unanimously accepted them. The response indicated that drafting for Stage 1 and 2A reforms is underway, but did not directly answer how many recommendations were made or when SCAG accepted them, instead directing to public communiques.
