Question
I refer to comments from Minister Papalia reported in the Sunday Times on 12 October, that issues with the C-series trains listed in internal documents dated as recently as 16 September 2025 are "history", implying that they have been fixed, and I ask:(a) have each of the following fixed been rolled out to all C-series trains:(i) aircon software update and vent redesign;(ii) replacement of all driver seats;(iii) resolution of all brake blending functionality issues;(iv) resolution of all VCB issues;(v) all new stickers showing passengers how to open doors installed;(vi) all railcar wheel upgrades and fixed completed;(vii) all demisters fixed and switched on; and(viii) all cab harmonic noise fixes completed?
Answer
(a) All issues listed have either had a technical solution implemented or are in the process of having a technical solution implemented.
