355. Hon Simon Ehrenfeld to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to ongoing
speculation in the media that the federal government is backtracking in
tonight's federal budget on pre-election promises regarding taxation on
property, investment, capital gains and family trust income.
(1) Has the state government advocated to
the federal government to honour its promises?
(2) If so, what response has been
provided?
