(a – b) 302 applications have been made from within the Geraldton electorate.
(c) $1,280.43
(d – e) To be eligible to participate in the WA Residential Battery Scheme, battery retailers and installers must have a Western Australian address for their business. There are 16 battery retailers with WARBS applications from Geraldton.
(f – g) Safety compliance inspections are conducted on a sampling basis by Western Power.
(h – j) WARBS has been established with a funding allocation of $102.5 million for rebates and $200 million for no-interest loans. As at 19 May 2026, $24.4 million has been paid in rebate funding and $52.1 million in no-interest loans.
WARBS has been established to support payment of up to 100,000 rebates through to 30 June 2029.
(k)There is no limit on the size of battery that can be supported under WARBS. Battery installations are subject to usual network connection requirements.
