Energy—Industrial-scale battery—Doghill Road, Baldivis24.Hon Rod Caddiesto theLeader of the House representing the Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation:I refer to the plans to construct an industrial-sized battery at Doghill Road.(1) Can the minister confirm that the energy transition will require the placement of industrial-scale batteries near residential households in some instances?(2) Can the minister confirm that an industrial grid connected battery emits some noise pollution?(3) Can the minister confirm that the noise pollution could be heard by some people near the proposed Doghill Road battery and be consistently present 365 days per year, 24 hours per day?(4) In the event of a fire at an industrial battery facility, what chemical elements are possibly released into the local environment via fumes and water run-off?
