In Budget Estimates for the 2025-26 Budget (Committee A, 3 July, 2025) I
asked for an update on planning for the Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) and Midland Hospitals and was advised
that once the planning was done an update could be provided. Twelve months on can the Minister advise:
(a) Has planning for these two hospitals commenced, and if so when for each and when is it likely that the plans will be shared publicly;
(b) If planning has not commenced, when is it likely to commence and be finalised before calling for tenders for both hospitals; and
(c) Have indicative costs and timeframes been identified for both hospitals, if so what are they?
