Inspired Homes was contracted to deliver six timber-framed townhouses.
In April 2025, Inspired Homes entered voluntary administration. Company administration periods can take a substantial amount of time before the contract is terminated and the State regains possession of the site. Once DevelopmentWA were able to reclaim the site they sought another builder.
The new builder’s due diligence period included detailed site investigations. Issues with the original build were identified by independent engineering and building assessments, with the recommendation to demolish and reconstruct the dwellings.
Demolition is scheduled to be completed later this year, with construction to commence soon after. Practical completion is anticipated by Q3 in 2027. The dwellings are proposed to be released to the market.
