Real Estate and Business Agents Act 1978

These regulations amend the Real Estate and Business Agents (General) Regulations 1979 and the Settlement Agents Regulations 1982 to update continuing professional development (CPD) requirements, including points, topics, and provider approvals. They also prescribe qualifications for certificate applicants.

Real estate, business, and settlement agents are affected by the changes to CPD requirements, including new mandatory topics and record-keeping. Applicants for certificates will need to meet new qualification standards. Approved CPD providers will need to meet new requirements.
