These regulations amend the Security and Related Activities (Control) Regulations 1997 to revise the prescribed examinations for security licences, particularly for Class 3 security consultants and installers. Class 3 security consultants and installers are affected by the new requirement for approved examinations on security door installation. Applicants who passed examinations between June 2025 and May 2026 have a one-year window for those examinations to be valid.
