These regulations amend the Guardianship and Administration Regulations 2005 to insert transitional provisions related to advance health directives and replace Schedule 2 with a new Advance Health Directive form.
Individuals creating advance health directives in WA are affected. During a 6-month transitional period, either the old or new form is valid. After that, only the new form is valid. Health professionals need to be aware of the valid forms during the transition.
