These regulations amend the Building Services (Registration) Regulations 2011. They remove the definition of 'insolvent' and introduce a requirement for building service contractors to notify the Building Services Board of new directors, including providing specific information about the director.
Building service contractors are affected by the new notification requirements for new directors. This includes providing company extracts, Director Identification Numbers (DINs), and information about bankruptcy, insolvency, and unpaid building service debts. The Board will have better information about the fitness of directors.
