These regulations amend the Guardianship and Administration Regulations 2005 to authorise the Public Advocate and Public Trustee to divulge personal information to the Agency, CEO, Commission, and Commissioner under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (Commonwealth) in prescribed circumstances.
The Public Advocate and Public Trustee are now authorised to share personal information with NDIS-related bodies, potentially affecting individuals under their guardianship or administration who are also NDIS participants. This facilitates information sharing for NDIS purposes.
