These regulations amend the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Regulations 1996 to update the acceptable forms of identification for pawnbrokers and second-hand dealers.
Pawnbrokers and second-hand dealers are affected by the change to acceptable forms of identification. They must now accept a register of electors under the Electoral Act 1907 or a law of another jurisdiction as proof of identity.
