These regulations amend the Electricity Corporations (Areas of Operation) Regulations 2015 to authorize the Regional Power Corporation to perform transmission and distribution functions for electricity supply to specific Aboriginal communities served by the South West interconnected system.
Relevant Aboriginal communities (Barrel Well, Kardaloo (Wandanooka), Kurrawang) will be affected as the Regional Power Corporation is authorized to manage electricity transmission and distribution to premises owned, occupied, or used by these communities.
