These regulations amend the Adoption Regulations 1995 and the Children and Community Services Regulations 2006 to update various fees and payments. They adjust fees related to adoption services and the amounts paid for different age groups of children under care.
Adoption applicants and carers of children will be affected by the changes to fees and payments. Adoption applicants will need to pay the new, increased fees for adoption services. Carers will receive adjusted payments based on the child's age.
