State Superannuation Act 2000

These regulations amend the State Superannuation Regulations 2001 to redefine 'pension day' and allow members to select different frequencies for pension payments, including fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, or annually. It also updates how the number of pension payments is calculated for fortnightly options.

Members of the State Superannuation Scheme will be able to choose their preferred pension payment frequency (fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, or annually) and the definition of 'pension day' will be updated to reflect these new options. This provides greater flexibility for retirees.
