Civil Procedure (Representative Proceedings) Act 2022

This proclamation commences the Civil Procedure (Representative Proceedings) Act 2022, excluding Part 1, on 25 March 2023. This brings the majority of the Act into operation.

Courts, legal professionals, and individuals or entities potentially involved in representative proceedings (class actions) in Western Australia will be affected, as the procedural framework for such proceedings is now in effect.
