Energy Operators (Powers) Act 1979

Amends the Energy Operators (Regional Power Corporation) (Charges) By-laws 2006 to update supply charges, introduce a reduced meter testing fee for eligible individuals, and revise unmetered supply charges.

Consumers in the Regional Power Corporation's service area will see changes to electricity supply charges. Eligible individuals with Centrelink or Department of Veterans’ Affairs cards can access reduced meter testing fees. Voluntary and charitable organizations may be affected by changes to Tariff C2 eligibility.
