Principal Act
These regulations amend the Mining Regulations 1981 to update references to legal practitioners and the Legal Profession Act, and to redefine terms related to legal representation in Schedule 4.
Mining operators and legal practitioners involved in mining-related legal matters will be affected by the updated terminology and definitions. The changes ensure consistency with the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Act 2022.
