This regulation amends the Magistrates Court Rules to replace the term "lawyer" with "legal practitioner" in various rules and forms across the Civil Proceedings, General, and Minor Cases Procedure Rules.

Legal professionals and parties involved in Magistrates Court proceedings in Western Australia are affected. The change aligns terminology with the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Act 2022.
