📜 Government Railways (Trespass) By-law 2023

Principal Act
This by-law prescribes the offence of trespass on railway property under section 48(2) of the Government Railways Act 1904 for the purposes of section 53A of the Act, setting a modified penalty of $500. It also prescribes the forms for infringement notices and withdrawal of infringement notices.
Individuals found trespassing on railway property will be subject to a $500 fine. Authorised officers are provided with the forms necessary to issue and withdraw infringement notices.
