These regulations amend the Western Australian Meat Industry Authority Regulations 1985. They update fees for abattoir operations, stock agent approvals, and Muchea Livestock Centre services, including parking and yard fees. A minor amendment is made to regulation 34(3A).
Abattoir operators, stock agents, and users of the Muchea Livestock Centre will be affected by the changes to fees. Abattoirs will see changes to application and annual fees, including a throughput fee component. Stock agents face revised approval and renewal fees. Users of the Muchea Livestock Centre will experience changes to parking and yard fees.
