This proclamation amends the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1911 by deleting the passage related to offensive trades from Schedule 2 and cancelling several proclamations declaring trades to be offensive. It removes abattoirs and related activities from being classified as offensive trades.
Businesses previously classified as operating 'offensive trades' under the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1911, such as abattoirs, are no longer subject to the regulations associated with that classification. This may reduce compliance burdens for these businesses.
