Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987

These regulations amend the Betting Control Regulations 1978 and the Gaming and Wagering Commission Regulations 1988 to implement consumer protection measures related to online wagering, including restrictions on inducements, deposit limits, activity statements, and staff training.

Bookmakers and Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) are affected by new requirements related to consumer protection. Account holders will benefit from increased protections, such as deposit limits and activity statements.
