These Rules amend the Rules of Wagering 2005 to introduce and clarify 'cash out' options for wagers made with bookmakers and Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA). It also addresses errors related to cash out amounts.
Investors and bookmakers are affected. Investors now have the option to 'cash out' wagers before the completion of an event. RWWA has a process to correct mistaken cash out amounts. Bookmakers can offer cash out options.
