This regulation amends the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Regulation 2018 to extend the transition period for professional indemnity insurance arrangements for midwives practicing private midwifery in Western Australia.

Midwives practicing private midwifery in WA will have an extended period to comply with professional indemnity insurance requirements. This provides additional time to secure appropriate insurance coverage.
