Energy Operators (Powers) Act 1979

These By-laws amend the Energy Operators (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation) (Charges) By-laws 2006 by replacing Schedules 1 and 2, updating electricity supply charges and standby charges.

Consumers of electricity in Western Australia will be affected by changes to supply charges, including fixed charges and consumption rates for various tariffs (Li, L3, Ri, R3, A1, B1, C1). Standby charges for consumers with their own generation are also updated. The changes will impact the cost of electricity for residential, commercial, and community service consumers.
