These regulations amend the Industrial Arbitration (Union Elections) Regulations 1980 to update references to the Electoral Commissioner and Electoral Commission, and repeal the Industrial Arbitration (Union Elections) Amendment Regulations 2024.

Registered unions and the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission are affected by the updated terminology. The public will see updated references to the Electoral Commissioner and Electoral Commission.
