Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007

These regulations amend the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery (Container Deposit Scheme) Regulations 2019 to update definitions, add new requirements for container approvals and bulk claim arrangements, and introduce transitional provisions.

Beverage suppliers, refund point operators, and the Coordinator of the Container Deposit Scheme will be affected by the changes to container approval processes, barcode notification requirements, and bulk claim arrangements. Micro and small beverage suppliers are specifically defined.
